About Brandee

Brandee Simone is a multidisciplinary artist, musician, small business owner, and higher education professional with more than twenty years of experience across the arts, fundraising, communications, and event production. She specializes in grant writing and research, donor and campaign communications, project management, and program coordination—blending strategic thinking, creative storytelling, and a sharp eye for aesthetic detail.

As a musician, Brandee has released a full-length album and several EPs, produced her own music videos, and performed across the Northeast, sharing stages with artists like George Jones, Emmylou Harris, Dawes, and Charmaine Neville. Her emotionally resonant songwriting and commanding vocal performances connect with audiences through a powerful blend of vulnerability and narrative.

She is also the founder and owner of Many Layers Cake Shop, a thriving artisan bakery known for its elegant, design-forward wedding cakes. She has trained in New York City with world-renowned artists, including SooCake Ully, and has demonstrated cake decorating techniques on local television. Her work goes beyond baking—encompassing collaborative planning, visual design, and event coordination—skills that parallel her professional experience producing institutional events like academic receptions, ceremonies, and award celebrations.

With additional talents in website design, photography, painting, and writing, Brandee infuses artistry into every endeavor. Whether writing a grant, planning an event, baking a cake, or performing on stage, she approaches her work with care, creativity, and a deep commitment to meaningful connection.

She lives in Western Massachusetts with her husband, daughter, and their dog, Willie—where there’s always music playing, something in the oven, and a new project taking shape.
